Description of the River Avon in FalkirkThe River Avon in Falkirk Scotland starts near Cumbernauld and flows through Avonbridge, through the Avon Gorge, through Muiravonside Country Park, Falkirk, past the west of Linlithgow and enters the Firth of Forth at Kinneil near Grangemouth. Linlithgow Angling Club members have approximately 10 miles of fishing for salmon, sea trout and brown trout. Other clubs selling permits include Slamannan Angling Club and Avon Valley Angling Club.
