Dunkeld & Birnam Angling Association offers Brown Trout and Grayling fishing on a number of waters around Dunkeld.
The Association has assumed responsibility for managing waters previously run by Murthly and Glendelvine AC.
The Association administers  fishings on the following beats:

Terms & Conditions

Warning – several beats (Stenton, Burnbane) controlled by the club do not allow coarse fishing. Most other beats require fly rods, reel and line when using bait.
Rotmell Burn – Fly only. One hour before sunrise to one hour after sunset. No bag limit. Trout under 9″ to be returned. 12 anglers per day including 5 available to public. .
River Tay – right bank between mouth of River Braan and Inchewen Burn – Fly only. One hour before sunrise to one hour after sunset. Trout under 10″ to be returned. 7 anglers per day.
River Tay – left bank from Dunkeld Bridge to Dean’s Cross. River Tay – right bank from Dunkeld Bridge to the Inchewan Burn – Fly only. One hour before  sunrise to one hour after sunset. Trout under 10″ to be returned. 3 anglers per
day including 1 available to public.
