Elinor Trout Fishery is Northamptonshire’s premier medium-sized trout fishery: 50 acres of spring-fed, gin-clear limestone water. Because of the clear alkaline water, natural food is in abundance and our trout are fat and healthy! Fly-fishing for brown & rainbow trout, in idyllic surroundings, from February 20th – December 31st 2010. bThere is 1.5 miles of bank fishing, and a fleet of 15 modern boats. Float-tubers are welcome. Our rods tend to keep only a few fish to eat, and this has resulted in a large number of grown-on fish.
Best fish in 2009:
Rainbow 15lb 9oz Bryce Hanlon of Desborough
Brown 10lb 3oz Geoff Scane of Peterborough
Day tickets, season tickets and boats for hire.
