West Cluden Mill sits on the River Cairn in the hamlet of West Cluden and just a step away from the accommodation is the prime private beat. The beat has pools to cater for all anglers. From slow deep pools, weir, and cascading falls to shallow fast runs. Anglers can enjoy private parking and private salmon fishing on the door-step. The River Cairn is the main tributary to the River Nith which flows through Dumfries and into the Solway Firth. We have approximately 1 mile on one bank of private fishing.
