| The Taymount beat consists of approximately 2 miles of water and can accommodate 6 rods. The water is covered by a mixture of bank, boat fishing using the services of two ghillies, and wading. This is a constantly productive beat and is arguably one of the prettiest on the river. There are two Taymount beats fished by a reciprocal arrangement with Stobhall. There is a very comfortable fishing hut and the services of two ghillies.

| Trout and coarse fishing on this beat is administered by Stanley AC. 10 daily permits available, 4 being retained by the club, 6 available to the public. No bubble floats. Dawn to Dusk. No size limits. Grayling available in season, but must stay clear of salmon anglers. Sunday fishing allowed. Day tickets at very reasonable cost. | ||||||||||||||
