| Trout fishing on this beat is administered by Perth & District AA. Fishing is from one hour before sunrise to one hour after sunset. Sunday fishing is allowed. 10 rods are available, 2 for members, 8 for the public. Fishing by fly or bait but using conventional fly rod, reel and line only. No bag limit, all trout under 9″ to be returned. Large parties can be accommodated by prior arrangement with the association. Day tickets available at very reasonable cost. Permits from:

Salmon Fishing | ||||||||||||||||||
| 1.9 miles of left bank fishing including the famous Linn Pool offering a good variety of water fishable at different heights. Stobhall is divided into two beats and is well known for its quality fly water and big fish and produces fish over 20lb each season. Stobhall is fished in conjunction with Taymount with beats rotating daily. 12+ rods are avilable including 4 boats with ghillies. Two well equipped huts with toilets are provided. During prime time this beat is generally already let, but day tickets are usually available at the beginning of the season. | ||||||||||||||||||
