On Shieldaig Estate the guests have the use of 26,000 acres of first class fly fishing, with salmon and sea trout fishing on Loch Badachro and the River Badachro and brown trout fishing on the famous Fairy Lochs, in fact the lodge has fishing rights in 9 major and numerous smaller lochs.
Weekly visitors permits available at very reasonable cost.
Shieldaig Lodge is one of the few remaining traditional Highland shooting Lodges which still opens its doors to the public. Not only a hotel, but also offers two holiday cottages.
