Perth & District Anglers Association

Perth & District Anglers’ Association offers access to a variety of fishing including salmon, brown trout, sea trout and grayling.  The waters covered by the club are extensive and extend on the middle River Tay from the Junction with the River Tummel down to the tidal mark and include many of the top beats.  The club also has fishings on the River Almond, the River Earn, Loch Horn and  the Frandy Fishery (Lower Glendevon Resevoir).

The Association offers two types of membership.

  • Full membership for those who permanently reside within a 15 mile radius of Perth.
  • Guest membership for those residing elsewhere in the United Kingdom. (Same access to fishing as full members, but no voting rights at the A.G.M.)

Membership is at very reasonable cost.  Salmon fishing is restricted to members, but day tickets for brown trout and grayling fishing are available at very reasonable cost to visitors from from PD Mallochs 01738 632316 or Birnam Spar 01350 727395.

Dear sirs, I’m going to be in Perth on 25-29/05, being invited to Leavers ball in Strathallan School on 25/05, where my daughter have studied 4 years. Some period of time I’d like to spend by Catch and Release fishing nearby Perth using ultralight spinning tackles, of course with barbless hooks. Furthermore being a fun of CR principle I’m organizing area trout tournaments in Moscow based on this principle.
Could you let me know where and how I can make a fishing. May be you can offer me commercial ponds, areas for trout fishing.
Thanks in advance for your soonest reply.
