If bigger fish are your fantasy, then September and October can provide both the numbers and the size. This is a 5 rod beat with 2 boats, where you are looked after by two experienced and knowledgeable ghillies. They advise and assist where required and are happy to accommodate both skilled and unskilled anglers alike.
The Meikleour House Beat runs for a mile and a half both upstream and down from the house, on both banks of the river. Although offering some excellent fly fishing, spinning is acceptable and indeed encouraged in high water.
