Friars Carse Country House Hotel has the only beat on the River Nith in Dumfries & Galloway which offers fishing and accommodation. The beat at Friars Carse is very attractive and offers 2300 metres of right bank fishing with a mixture of pools providing fishing with fly, spinning or worming. A good riverside footpath allows anglers with mobility problems to fish some of the more productive pools without difficulty. Access is via short paths leading from the hotel’s parking area.
