Fochabers Angling Association

Has fishings on a beat known as Lower Water One of the River Spey. This beat is 1.3 miles in length, has both banks, and is approximately 4 miles from the sea. The Association has the fishing from opening day on 11th February until 10th August each year. It is all good fly water. Some pools fish best in low water, and some in higher water. Only a major spate would prevent a cast.

The Association allows a maximum of 40 local members.

4 visitors day tickets are allocated per day, except on the very odd occasion to accommodate special circumstances. Thus, visiting anglers have often commented that it is just like fishing a private beat.
