Devon Angling Association. The Association was formed in 1905 to ensure the availability of Trout fishing for local people and to act as a pressure group to protect the river environment. We presently offer fishing on approximately fifteen miles of the River Devon from below Castlehill Reservoir down river to the Tullibody/Menstrie Bridge, and the bank fishing on Glenquey Reservoir. We offer wild Brown Trout fishing on all the waters we control, although we also operate a supportive annual stocking policy. Brown trout season 15th March to 6th October.
Our Salmon and Sea Trout fishings extend from a quarter of a mile below the Cauldron Linn down river to the Tullibody/Menstrie Bridge. Salmon/Sea trout season 15th march to 31st October.
Our aim is still to offer angling to all, and to protect and enhance the environment of the River Devon Valley.
Membership at very reasonable cost.
