Comrie Angling Club leases fishing on several miles of the rivers Earn and Ruchill in the vicinity of Comrie.
Fishing is available for Salmon, Seatrout, Brown Trout and Grayling, and there are also some Rainbow Trout in the Club waters – these are escapees from fish farms, and we ask that any Rainbows caught are killed, irrespective of size, to help preserve the native fish.
Fly fishing is permitted, as is spinning, and, subject to some restrictions, worming and maggot fishing. The rivers are largely in their natural state, which makes for a highly enjoyable angling experience, and, particularly from August onwards, the water can be very productive.
Memberships are available, as are day tickets.
