Aberfeldy Angling Club has brown trout and grayling fishing on a number of beats from Aberfeldy to Logierait. The club also has salmon fishing around the town of Aberfeldy, but this is restricted to residents of Aberfeldy only. Day tickets are available for brown trout and grayling fishing.

Upper Tay Winter Grayling PermitsAdditionally, Aberfeldy Angling Club administersthe Grayling and Coarse fishing out of the trout fishing season. The trout seasonruns from 15th March to October 6th. One permit covers the following beats, and the beats above, during the winter months. At this time of year anglers are especially requested to keep clear of spawning redds and to follow the guidelinesadopted by the Grayling Society | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| The club has a wide selection of waters available. Many are restricted to fly only although some allow any legal method. Typically there is a four trout bag limit and trout under 10″ must be returned. Fishing is usually dawn to dusk, with fishing allowed on Sundays. | The club is keen to promote grayling fishing. It is now possible to fish for grayling from Loch Tay to the confluence with the Tummel at Ballinluig. Permits can be obtained from the club or in some instances from the owner. Please check individual beats for more information. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||


There are Roach in loch at the west end through Killin AC. Not in great numbers. Don’t think there are any Perch.
