Shillinglee Fishery

Shillinglee Day Ticket Fishery located on the Surrey / Sussex border consists of a 6.5 acre lake and 4 ponds.

Specimen lake, which is the one most day ticket anglers and carp anglers prefer, is a beautiful spring fed lake of approximately 6.5 Acres in size with lots of natural features and wildlife plus some very good fishing.

Silverdale was formed in 1995 by damming one of the springs that feed the main lake, it is 2.5 metres deep in the middle and is used as a breeding pond for our Carp, the pond also has a good stock of Golden Rudd up to a lb and a few Tench. If easy fishing is what you are looking for then silverdale should supply easy fishing with a dozen or so carp caught in a session.

is an extremely pretty small pond brimming with smashing Golden Rudd, they love maggots and bread, sit quietly and simply enjoy these beautiful fish in an idyllic woodland setting.

Canal Pond, is a short cut formed just three years ago by dredging a section of the old lake and putting a dam in to create a deep pond. The pond has been stocked with our own bred Tench, about 400 the majority are just 8 inches long but growing fast, giving really good fun on light tackle.

Tench 10lb.3oz. Mirror Carp at 39lb 12oz. Common Carp 38lb 8oz. Pike 42lb.4oz. Perch 2lb.8oz. Roach 2lb 10oz. Rudd 2lb 4oz.
