Oakhanger Angling Club

The club has been established for over 25 years and provides some of the best coarse angling facilities for people in Hampshire and the surrounding area. With a large variety of venues to choose from O.A.C. comes out top choice for angling clubs in the area.

Venues include:

Kingsley Pond has 40 swims with a good stock of roach, rudd, bream, perch, tench, crucian carp,  common carp and a grass carp or two.

Rookery Pond is very popular giving good sport over the whole fishing season. Mainly a carp water with good small to specimen’s over 27lb at most swims. The roach are getting bigger with a few pike, and crucians as well.

Bakers Pond is a pleasure fishing pond with a variety of fish. All quite young, growing up nicely. With a stretch of river that can be fished as well its a quiet retreat in a busy area.

Short Heath Pond is a three acre shallow pond on a large common. Carp to 27lb, tench to 9lb and also some pike.

Le Court is a small pond gives some of the best perch fishing to be had locally, with perch being caught over 4lb.  Also to be caught in Le Court are common carp, mirror carp, some gleaming roach and the odd crucian carp.
