Description of the Duneaton Water

Duneaton Waters starts in the forested hills or Cairn Table to the south of Glenbuck and flows generally eastwards passing the village of Crawfordjohn to join the River Clyde to the north of Abington.  Its most significant tributary is Snar Water.

Since Duneaton Water is above the impassable Clyde Falls no salmon or sea trout are present.  UCAPA offer brown trout fishing.
