Originally built to serve Anglers who came from far and wide to fish for salmon on the River Tay the Tayside has been welcoming weary travellers with good food and a warm bed for over 100 years.
Times have definitely changed however at the Tayside we are proud to continue this tradition by offering genuine warm hospitality, well appointed Guest Rooms and traditional home-cooked cuisine in a unique atmosphere that will allow you to relax, unwind and take in all that we have to offer.
The hotel continues to have a fishy theme. It is the venue for the Tay Ghillies Association meetings and can arrange fishings on local beats.
