Angling Association
Ulverston Angling Association has two coarse fisheries,Ulverston
Canal and Sandhall Ponds, both these waters are
located near Ulverston on the edge of the Lake
District. U.A.A. also has Knottallow Tarn a Brown
Trout Fishery which can be fished on a day ticket.

and quality of it's private fisheries. It offers
everything from big carp (to 36lb) and pike to
small river dace and chub. All waters are maintained
through regular working parties to ensure they
offer the safe and comfortable fishing with nearly
half of the club's annual income investing in
improvements and restocking. River Lee, Riverside
Road, Smallford Pit, River Flit, Frogmore Complex,
River Ivel, River Ouse, Paynes Lane, Turnford

Horton Grange and the Queen Elizabeth II Lake
(the "QEII"). The Club runs several
friendly but keenly contested match series andregular
trips to waters further afield. The Club actively
supports beginning and junior anglers and is totally
committed to doing everything to encourage disabled
people into the sport. |
