Trout and Coarse Fishery
On the edge of the Derbyshire
Peak District, Barlow Trout and Coarse Fishery
is set in 50 acres of beautiful, secluded valley.
Comprising of holiday cottages, a camping club
site, four trout lakes, four coarse lakes and
a fresh water brook, the fishery is situated only
four miles from Chesterfield and ten miles from
Sheffield City Centre. The fishery can be reached
in around 15-20 minutes from junction 29 of the
M1 motorway, Day tickets are available for fly
fishing for brown and rainbow trout, from £6
per day, and coarse angling from £4 daily. |

sections of rivers held on Calder, Nidd, Swale,
Ure, Wharfe, Aire plus canals. |

Pebley
Reservoir
A 26 acre mixed coarse fishery
which is situated to the south of Sheffield.In
winter the pike are the main target for anglers,
with a stock of 17 fish over 20lbs and a good
head of doubles. The lake record stands at 33lb
12oz. In summer tench are the quarry of a lot
of the anglers that visit, with fish of 5lb plus
common and a lake best of 9lb 12oz. Bream in the
2-5lb size range with the record at 13lb 8oz.
The carp stocks number approx 120 fish with commons
being the predominant type. |

. It is a member of The River Swale Preservation
Society . The club is also affiliated to Aireborough
and District AA . The Association hold rights
on the Rivers Swale , Aire and the Leeds and Liverpool
