Chalk Springs Trout Fishery Sussex

Chalk Springs Trout Fishery
The fishery is situated in an attractive woodland valley on the Duke of Norfolk's Estate at Arundel, West Sussex. There are four lakes totalling about five acres. The fishery is fed by natural springs, helping to keep the lakes cool and crystal clear throughout the year. The excellent clarity of the water offers fishermen a unique opportunity to stalk high quality brown and rainbow trout.

The Copthorne and District Angling Society

The Copthorne and District Angling Society
The society has 5 lakes and another to the west of Crawley. The club also has access to 8 miles of the Sussex Ouse shared with the Ouse Preservation Society. None of this is heavily fished indeed on some sections of the Ouse I’ve never seen another angler. All the lakes are privately located with no access for the general public so have a truly away from it all feeling.

The fishery is little more than an hour's drive from London, and 12 miles from the South Coast. The eight acres of chalk spring fed lakes are stocked regularly with rainbow trout up to double figures. Brook, Brown and Tiger Trout are stocked in the summer months.
