fed with crystal clear water. It is well stocked
with rainbow trout, blue trout and also contains
a large head of wild brown trout, creating a
unique and memorable fishing experience. We welcome
all
anglers, from novices to experts, and know you’ll
enjoy fishing in this well stocked, scenic lake,
near Rothbury, Northumberland.
Caistron Trout Fishery offers

to 15lbs plus.

Chatton Trout Fishery
A family run enterprise
that aims to provide the highest quality trout
fly fishing in relaxed and friendly surroundings.
The fishery consists of two lakes, Chatton Lake
and Ross Lake, situated half a mile from the village
of Chatton in picturesque North Northumberland.
'Chatton Lake' is 4 acres and 'Ross Lake' is approx
3 acres, both lakes are stocked with Rainbow,
Blue and Brown Trout. They are both all
bank fishing lakes with no obstructions for
casting.
The lakes benefit from idyllic views overlooking
the Cheviot Hills.

at Scaling Dam Fishing Balderhead. Whittle Dene
consists of seven small lakes, four of which,
the Lower,
Northern, Southern and Western are used
for coarse fishing.

the villages of Knowesgate, Kirkwhelpington
and Redesdale in the Northumberland hills
and is famous for it's stock
of large, hard fighting rainbow trout of up

at every visit. Sweethope Lough is the headwater
of the Wansbeck river, which cuts it's scenic
way to the North
Sea through some of Northumberlands prettiest
scenery.
