Crediton
Fly Fishing Club
A small-stream "fly only"
fishing club based in Crediton, a small market
town in Devon. The Club controls approximately
six miles of the Rivers Creedy, Yeo and Culvery,
most of which is double bank fishing. These streams
have abundant fly life, including a Mayfly hatch,
which, together with many terrestrials ensure
superb opportunities to fish the dry fly for wild
brown trout throughout most of the season. In
addition, the Club also leases one and a half
miles of the River Taw above Coldridge, which
provides excellent sport for wild brown trout
with the bonus of a run of sea-trout and the occasional
salmon, and also has access to an excellent beat
on the River Exe for winter grayling fishing. |
